1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -

I adore my home-made ones - it's the only way I can vary my fruit and veg intake - but I try to use berries and the like instead of super-sugary stuff.

I make my own green smoothies, which really help me up my green leafy uptake while getting the benefit of the roughage.
I am very aware of the down side of the sugars in the fruit/veg I will add to this to make it palatable and try and keep them to a minimum. On a day I have a green smoothie, I won't eat any other fruit.
However, whenever I go through a phase of juicing/smoothie - ing, I can guarantee, after a week, loads of people start telling me how well I look and my skin glows (and they don't know I am on a 'regime').I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
