which mobile providers don't charge extra for forwarding calls?
I just found out that T-Mobile charged me for forwarding calls to a UK landline number even though I haven't used my included minutes yet.
I'm thinking of moving to Giffgaff, as they take it from your included minutes if you forward calls.
Are there any other network providers who don't charge you for forwarded calls?

So Tmobile don't take the minutes from your monthly allowance for any call forwarded calls but charge you in addition to your monthly charge?

That's correct, as some were abusing the service, just like in the early days when 0800 numbers were free, but folk started using calling card services, hogging the network with no or little revenue for the carrier.0 -
You need to ask the question - many included bundles only work if you actually initiate the call yourself. If the call is diverted or forwarded, the standard charge may apply.0

I don't see why it makes a difference to the provider whether I make or forward a call. You need to ask the question - many included bundles only work if you actually initiate the call yourself.
If they think they can charge me extra for that, then I just vote with my feet and leave
Saves me money on top of that as Giffgaff's comparable tariffs are cheaper too.. 0 -
Three you can forward for free, well within your inclusive minutes0

Any new T-Mobile plan that was available from Feb 2012 allows diverts to landines and mobiles to come out of your allowance.
Just change to a newer price plan. Simples.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -

Thanks for that info, but do you have a link for that? I can't find anything about it here http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/terms-and-conditions/inclusive-allowances/
But at the end of the day the Giffgaff goodybag for £7.50 gives me about the same allowance than the £8 T-Mobile plan, but without the 18 months contract...0
