Hi there,
I desperately need some help. I've received an e-mail from Call 18866 saying that they have "tried to collect payment" and that my payment method has failed. I've now tried to log into my account several times this week to access and pay the account, but after so many times it blocks my account. The problem is that I've since moved from the address where the landline number was registered, so I can't call from the 'phone.
So............... to cut a long story short, could anyone please PM me the account details that I need to do an online bank transfer. I have MY account number with 18866, but I want to pay this asap!!!
I've tried to e-mail customer services, but no reply and I'm getting anxious.
Edited to add: I have scoured the "sticky" at the top of the page and unfortunately can't find what I'm looking for. I hope that I haven't overlooked it.
Thanks so much.
Vicky
Or if you know what I SHOULD be doing, I would be very grateful.

When one of my 1899 DD calls allegedly failed, they sent me a 'failed payment' e-mail with details of how to clear the account quickly - by making an electronic (BACS) payment from my bank account.

I don't think it'll matter that that was for an alleged failed 1899 payment - they're all the same company - so I'd suggest:Pay to: CONNECT TELECOM UK
Sort code: 15-10-00
Account number: 22069880
Reference: Your 9-digit 18866 A/C numberTime has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Many thanks! If you were next to me I'd hug you!!! Flowers? Chocs? Bottle of wine? Ok, so it's only £1.26, but the irony would be getting a bailiff on the door for that amount!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0

Mine was £2.58!
BTW, it took about a week after the payment for access to 1899 to be restored but, as you don't have access to your registered landline any more, I hope the same applies to online access to the account again - so that you can delete one phone number and add another.I have scoured the "sticky" at the top of the page and unfortunately can't find what I'm looking for.
