Hello ALL,

I write this in a hope that someone can help me in finding a bath panel that fits to my bath as I can not locate one at all online. They all seem to be a few cms to short in height.

The sizes I need are: 170cm Length and 54cm Heut wonder weight

I have seen some mdf ones but wonder about if they will lose there shine and are they ok to fit? I would prefer a plastic one that I can cut down to fit around wall resess but thats no problem its the sizes. I can find 170mm length and 53cm but wonder does this fit is there a part at the top that is not counted in the size? I dotn want a cm gap at the bottom.

premier coram riser panel the part that covers from the ground up to the tray so blocks out the ugly parts under the shower tray to floor

Also I have a coram shower Premier which is 10 years old but in good nick it is jst the bottom surround is split and cracked and I want to replace it, I wonder if there is a r.eplacement out there or if there is a fix for adding a new surround? Any ideas are so helpfull.

Thank you so much to anyone whom can help me on this. Thank you

If a customer has a panel that is to short in height, i usually fit a upvc window trim at the bottom, you can get 20mm -75mm . Or you can use timber skirting.
  • Have you tried Roper Rhodes, they have a panel "The Signatures" range that comes in 2 pieces, has an adjustable plinth at the bottom and can be adjusted to the maximum height of 560mm.

I prefer the MDF ones and I suppose they can lose the glossy white look but this only happens over a good few years, depending on moisture and if in direct sunlight. The plastic ones are normally come in one size and are made for a dedicated bath. If you cut them down they lose a bit of their rigidity.

The MDF ones are much stronger and you will need a couple of wooden chocks fixed behind the bath for the panel to fix against. I done this in my own bathroom using the said panel above. Use Velcro, or magnets on the inside of the bath panel and against whatever frame or wooden chocks you use to avoid any visible screw holes. If you cut them, make sure you seal the cut edge with some PVA glue or something to avoid moisture getting in and swelling the panel.

    Hope this helps.

As for the shower are you trying to replace the enclosure and leave the tray in place?

is this the panel that goes around the tray to conceal the gap between the tray bottom and the floor? Our shower tray stood too high for the supplied panel. The fitter used a length of UPVC soffit instead. It looks just right.
  • I am in the middle of looking for a bath panel and i have found that some stores have panels that are set lengths and are adjustable in height, like this one

Not saying this company is any good as I haven't bought mine yet, but sure other companies have adjustable ones too.

Yes that is right, we just want a cheap one that is new and looks clean, our one is cracked and awful. I just can not locate one anywhere?

    Any help will be amazing.
