Autosave / Carshop
Hello all.
As a good Christian car buyer, my wife wants to buy a used car from Autosave (who it turns out sell cars that are also available for sale at the Carshop) and pay to have it delivered to us.
I've read all sorts of bad reviews of the Carshop, but are Autosave a bit more trustworthy? The salesman said they're owned by the same company... gave her the usual assurances of a full valet and full service, blah-blah. But their car pictures look a bit Photoshopped to me... bodywork looks almost too pristine! (Sorry, cannae post links...)

If the two are part of the same group and one part has very bad reviews then I'd avoid both. Is there a specific reason why you want to use that dealer rather than looking elsewhere?
Is it a dealer you need to use as a good Christian car buyer? Just wondering how it differs from a non Christian buying a car or indeed a bad Christian buying one?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
As a Christian car buyer you have to adopt non-Christian car buying tactics and assume that all car salesmen(women) lie....The man without a signature.0

For all have sinned ...
I had a friend who bought from a Christian dealer a few years back. Looking at their website it might have been this lot, as they say they have been going 30 years. The car was a real lemon but they did take it back without fuss when he got a local atheist mechanic to do a report on it!0 -
Heh-heh, thanks for the replies, all.
No, my wife, who comes from a good Christian family, wants to buy from a "Christian" dealer who, in the past, sold decent cars to her parents and sister. This was a few years ago, though, I think before Autosave became part of the Carshop.
The problem is that, in doubting Autosave, my wife feels like I'm doubting her whole religion - "How could a Christian possibly sell a bad car?" And I think this is part of their sales patter too.0 -
How can a religious person kill? Yet they do every single day.
Selling you a lemon only takes 1 hail mary to put them back into touch with the almighty one.
I can forward hundreds of emails from people that start out saying how religious they are and want to give me some money.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
