Speed camera on the Cardiff Link Road

I don't drive along the link road very often (from J33 to Cardiff) but today I noticed that there's a new speed camera just before the Ninian Park junction.

I think they've reduced the speed to 50 (why?) so be careful!

There's a couple on both sides of the road on that stretch. I'd love to know why the speed limit was reduced as well.

maybe so they can catch people....speeding.... and not notice that they have reduced the speed limit in that area.... so they get more funds in ....they are sneaky little **&@*&*@.....

Went through it today - had been warned of the reduced limit .

Roadworks at the Leckwith turnoff is the reason why. :rolleyes:

that part of the a4232 is also becoming something of an accident black spot of late :rolleyes: if it makes people drive with more care and attention then thats fine with me

maybe that is why they have put cameras and reduced the speed limit them.......

there is a new camera on the roadworks before cardiff gate, travelling from newport.

it's 50 also!

our facilities management dept in my office sent the whole office 300 staff an email telling us of the speed cameras on the cardiff link road, they used to be just after the tunnel. At least we had prior warning and if it stops accidents then that is very good

It is for the Roadworks at the leckwith roundabout but i cant see it getting much faster than that in the near future as the sports village is going to be busy when it opens x
