DLA payments - time to process

We waiting for a payment from the DLA people they said was done on the 14th, its for a fair amount of money so are worried they may have the wrong bank details or something (they never thought to confirm they correct, they just sent it after a tribunal decision). The money isnt in the bank yet, do DLA payments normally take many days to clear?

They usually tell you to allow 5 working days, from when they actually send the payment, but it very often goes through quicker than they.

I have never had a problem with them getting the right banks details, so if you haven't received the money a week after them sending it, you can phone and see what's happening.

But, it can take a while, after tribunal, for any payment to be actually sent, so make sure that they have actually sent the payment.

yes they claim it was sent already on the 14th, a very quick turnaround time from tribunal I have to say.

The 14th was Friday so will probably hit your bank account tomorrow
