'Soft' mascara

FWIW I got the megaplush (green bottle with pink writing?) mascara a few weeks ago and have only used it twice so far. I am not a great mascara user anyway but the gel concept sounded good as I hate the flaking, hardening, discomfort etc on eyelashes with regular mascaras plus the absolute palaver of taking them off. The megaplush doesn't flake or harden on the eyelashes but it is also quite discreet - it doesn't give much volumising or lengthening effect. Or I may not be applying too much of it anyway...
Thank you (how are you! :j) it might be a bit disappointing then.
.
Hmm, Clinique? I might go and try and re read the space nk offerings.

I'm not much more help with mascaras I am afraid, I kept clear of them until a few years ago. I may not be applying them correctly though as I live in fear of overcluttering my eyelashes! [I am all examed-out and been drugged up on night nurse (in broad day time!!) for the last couple of days. Fighting a nasty cold. will mail m.]
ETA if Maybelline use a gel-mousse concept in their mascaras then surely some higher end houses will have be using it too? Worth an investigation?0 -
I use either Benefit's They're Real mascara (quite expensive, but really amazing looking lashes), or Rimmel's Telescopic mascara. I find that the Rimmel mascara looks and feels great if I rub my finger over my top lashes (from the bottom, so I'm kind of pushing the lashes upwards, if you know what I mean). It means tat you take most of the excess mascara off and it ends up looking very naural, like you just have quite long, dark lashes, and doesn't dry hard.
That said, most days I just use eyeliner because that I can just wash off, whereas mascara has to be properly removed.0 -
Rimmel's Scandaleyes Flex has Lycra in it and doesn't dry crispy
