I keep hearing about this combo working together to change the world.
Can anyone give me the lowdown please?
I know the Pi is a basic computer and XBMC is some kind of streaming software?
Over to you clever people. Thanks in advance. Apologies if this is a duplicate thread.

great combination I have one for each tv in my house, where it can access home media (pics \ home movies and Music collection). There are addons for ondemand services such as bbc Iplayer \ itv \ youtube etc..
It can also handle Airplay from Ipad \ Iphones..
A good little system with lots of potential.0 -
I use RaspBMC and it is great. Highly reccommended.
XBMC is a bit more than 'some streaming software' try looking on Google to see what it really does.0
