How long does it take Experian to update reports?

(I'm basing this or not knowing very much about credit, so bare with me)
For the last few weeks I've been trying to get myself a Argos store card, and after being turned down, and getting my credit report, then finding out I was not registered on the electoral roll for my current address I proceeded to get myself registered in time for my councils monthly roll update. (Recent electoral roll update was done on 17th February)

What I'm now curious about is, how long does it take for Experian Credit Experts to update my report to reflect the roll change?

(I was unaware that almost anything related to credit, requires you to me on the electoral roll)
Drinking contests with humans are unbearable. They drink, they collapse, and we have to drag them back to their homes. The next day they never remember losing.

Well technically the cra's say they will have the update by April. This is what they told me today as I was also added to the February register. If you have a letter of confirmation from your council I recommend bugging the hell out of them with it until they update sooner.

Typically around 4 to 6 weeks.

I can confirm that Equifax will to be updating their credit file with Electoral Roll info before the end of March. Apparently there is a big delay this year due to the Government moving from registering the house to registering the human.
