yorkshire bank ppi query

another ppi thread so sorry in advance if this has been covered
i went into the yorkshire bnk branch to ask about ppi complaints, they told me that i had 6 loans from 2001 to present day and all had ppi on them, gave me a piece of paper for me to fill in and tell them why i was miss sold the ppi
did that and i was told i would be contacted, the claims dept contacted me by letter and told me that i have not had PPI on any loans?
so im a bit confused now, do i contact the ombudsman and see if they can help or is that the end of it
also asked about my yorkshire bank credit card and the bank branch told me they dont deal with the credit cards and i would have to contact the yorkshire bank credit card company lol

If I was you I'd go back to the branch and speak to them same person. Ask then to double confirm that you have PPI. Then phone the complaint department from the branch and ask them to sort it out with each other.
One or the other has obviously made an admin error. It does happen.0 -
ive just re-read it more carefully as ive had time to and they have only quoted 4 loans in the letter, have not mentioned the other 2, 3 have not had it, 1 has been so long they say they have no records on it?
but still my query is how can the branch say its on all of them then the claims dept so no it isnt lol

been onto the phone today, phoned the ppi reclaim team for yorkie bank and explained that i put 6 loan complaints in and they only replied to 4, also told them that the branch said i had ppi on them all and then yous told me that i didnt, got a 'oh well get all the decumnets from your branch send them to us and we will look at it again'
all this after them sending me the final letter lol
my argument now is the branch wouldnt have given me the complaint form to fill out if i didnt have it on in the first place
gonna get the copys and also contact the ombudsman as i think they are trying to pull a fast one
also is it common practice for the investigation team to ask if a third party is listening in on the conversation when i phone them?

Probably only if they actually have reason to suspect that one is. Some CMCs do try and pull fast ones with secretly recording telephone calls and listening in when they shouldn't. If you're not dealing with one then just say that.0
