Hi , i was made redundant on the 5 th of February via a text message I have asked for it in writing along with p45 etc but not received anything and employer will not answer phone. The company was taken to court by the hmrc to make it insolvent on the 10th February so I know my unpaid wages and redundancy will have to come from the NI fund. So if I find a job next week do I lose my rights. Really what I am asking is that not being paid for a month and the redundancy via text actually me redundant. Thanks

If the company is insolvent it doesn't really matter how you were made redundant. You need to contact the OR office dealing with the case and request an RP1 form to claim. If you are entitled to redundancy finding a job will not mean you lose the right to claim. What it will do is reduce the amount you are paid for any notice period due0

If your work is not too far away it is possibly worth a visit.
Always possible business is still being run by an administrator.0
