Balance Transfer Help!

Hi I've just been accepted for a 6.9% life of balance card via MBNA which is great.............but my current balance I wish to transfer is from MBNA thus impossible to move that onto new card.
Am I right in thinking the best way forward is to simply transfer it onto an existing card (I have a Halifax cc) and then transfer it from that onto the MBNA 6.9% card?
Seems simple enough? Any other ideas?
Cheers

BTs to the MBNA 6.9% LOB card are fee free.Yes, but you will pay two BT fees.
OP, a money transfer (6.9% card to current account to MBNA card with debt) would be an option, but that'll have a 4% fee...which will almost certainly be more than the fee Halifax will charge for hopping the cash over.0
