ESA Question

Hello.
I am in the process of migrating from IS to ESA. I sent back my ESA50 form in May 2013.
I still had yet to hear back but have been periodically chasing it up every 4 months or so by email.
I was told by email today that they have advised the DWP that there is no need for me to go for an assessment at this time.
Does that mean that I will be put onto ESA? Or can the decision maker still deny me it?
It's all confusing.
Thank you in advance.

ATOS can make recommendations but the decision is made by the DWP.
more often than not they accept the ATOS recommendation0 -
You cannot be found 'fit for work' without a face2face assessment (as long as you return forms on time etc),0

I received my ESA decision this morning and have been placed in the support group for 12 months.
Is the 12 month thing the norm when not on CB? My friend said that everyone is placed on it for 12 months at first.
Thank you in advance.2019 Wins

The review times vary between 3 months and 3 years.
However, many reviews are very delayed, at the moment, and not everyone is getting them at the recommended times.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.

Many of us have been transfered from IB/IS for disability reasons for the maximum time, three years pet.
There is no "norm" award, 12 months isnt a bad award and Im sure that you follow mine and lin's advice to collect the evidence to support your claim as you go.
Im not about much, hows the bairn?0 -
Reassessments, if not already started, are on hold at the moment. It looks as if you might get more breathing space than you expected as this situation is expected to last anything from 6 months to 2 years!0
