Rather strange, Applied for a barclaycard initial some time ago (2012) but got refused. Then Last week i had a letter offering me to apply for a Barclaycard platinum by april. Was a bit of of the blue.
Then this morning my i get a letter from capital one saying my secured card (£200 limit) has gone up to £800. I've had the secured card since 2012.
Does this mean my credit rating has increased or something?

You dont have a credit rating as such, it means that you have managed the card with the £200 limit satisfactorily so they dont see you as such a high risk anymore.0

OP your credit file is looking better so you are getting better deals and offers.
This isn't your experian or other score, just your record in paying back debt and using credit sensibly is improving, carry on doing teh same and things will continue to improve.0
