sse..prepayment gas meter ghost credit balance

Okay so i looked at my online bill which showed i was £287 in credit...was confused as on prepayment so i entered my meter numbers for up to date balance and it was still showing that i was £104 in credit...even further confused i phoned and spoke to an advisor whose answer was..you shouldnt be able to view quarterly bills when on pre payment only an annual bill and that the amount in credit i saw was a ghost credit..i asked her to explain what a ghost credit was and she couldnt... she just kept repeating that i shouldnt be able to view a quarterly statement..then she told me that the tariff for pre payment and credit meters were the same

I am waiting for her manager to call me back to explain but wondered in the meantime of anyone could shed some light on the matter
