I wonder what hpuse makes of this one then?

Comes to the top of the sponsored ads when googling for Ryanair. Surprised they have not pulled them up on it though knowing what Michael is like protecting his brand.

Only on my Kindle Fire! It is the default in their browser or I have to go to Google/Yahoo page first, then search.

Isn't Android a Google thing? Mine uses Google, but my work computer uses Bing and nearly goes out the window when it brings up results.

It is. But the Kindle Fire is an Amazon thing and is only based on Android, and is modified.

If I ever get mine back from my toddler I'll have a look to see how to change it, though Bing is OK for most of the stuff I look up on the Kindle anyway.

Tell me about it! The Amazon app store is so rubbish. I'd not have gone for a Kindle if I'd realised all of this before.

Ah - I don't use the internet on the thing, I downloaded Chrome, hence it not using Bing. My mistake!

I quite like mine - when I'm allowed to have it back from the toddler. My Paperwhite is better for book reading, but the Fire is handy for checking my e-mails/browsing etc when I am too lazy to start the laptop or if I am out. I only got the Fire because I got it free if I bought a year's sub to the Daily Mail/Fail. Now that IS a truly rubbish app! Hardly ever downloads the new edition when it should and then, usually, it is incomplete so it can take up to an hour to finally get the whole paper. At least twice a week it tells me I don't have a valid subscription, even though I have one for a year, so have to log out and log back in so that it will agree to give me my paper. So, by the time I have finally got the damned thing I no longer have the time to read it! The upside is that I have found I don't really miss a daily paper, so I will neither renew the sub or buy a paper copy when the year is up. I was thinking of asking for an iPad for my birthday next month but the toddler would have that away as well!

I googled bing and the first thing it came up with was some search engine, so it was redirecting me away from what I wanted. Can I sue google because all I wanted was "White Christmas"
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?
