IE 1, Chrome nil why?

Why is it that if I view local storm up-dates via IE, all photo's, logo's, notices appear in full, yet if I use my preferred browser, chrome, very few appear?. I'm guessing that settings needs to be tampered with, but which?

What version of IE, what version of Chrome? What size screen, what resolution? How many toolbars do you have open?1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
