Could anyone recomend a good reliable company to
change to, we have been with Orange for years and
now they are quite inreliable at sorting out problems
etc
We have the phone/broadband and calls from them
and how easy is it to change over
Bearing in mind we are pensioners and not as pc savvy
as we could be
Thankyou

    Have a look at http://www.plus.net/home-broadband/
    There's a FAQ section on the right-hand-side.
If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.

Before making any specific recommendation, let's see who you CAN get broadband from. :)

Follow the instructions then tell us which companies are available.

Also, what do you use the broadband for? (Your usage will help guide any recommendations too).

If you can get plusnet (the samknows site is really good), then I'd recommend them. I've had freeserve, orange and o2 in the past, and they were useless compared to PN and more expensive too. Their fibre broadband is awesome, nearly 80mbps 24/7, heck of a difference from the 512kbps-2mbps ADSL speeds I'd been having for several years.

+1 for plusnet, been with them for a few years with minimal issues. Good CS too.

+2 for plusnet ... but in my experience ... Sam Knows 'naff all', especially for non LLU exchanges :(

    I'm also with Plusnet
Never used it but they have a UK call centre so no dealing with BT's notorious Indian call centre.
Plusnet forum is very good as well....both other users and staff on it.

only current and past users of +net are permitted to register so no trolls on it
