Why would the OP want a prepaid debit card? They would need the cash in the first place to put on a prepaid debit card - in which case they wouldn't be considering a credit card. Trolling?
I think the big thing to consider OP is whether you can actually use the credit card - a lot of suppliers won't want to take credit card, or will charge you a supplement - could you be worth asking around your suppliers if you know who they are, that extra couple of percent could mean that actually the loan is a better solution for the long term.0 -

I've checked and all our suppliers will accept credit cards. Also - as Martin Lewis always says, try to pay for goods using credit cards as it protects you.
I'll be saving as best I can, spending on the credit card just the for the wedding - with Tesco Club card points - happy days. Then paying the balance off at the end of the month; think that is the way to go.
