Honey Housemaids Knee eh! Does your work involve a lot of kneeling?
The sun is trying to sneak out from behind the clouds here, but the clouds are due to get heavier later, but no rain on the forecast until the end of Friday, but that may move away before then as it often does. Wont be sunbathing weather today, which is good as DH is helping a neighbour sort out their house before selling, he is too ill to come out, so is lending a hand, he has a lot of building materials, but wont be able to use them any more(terminal cancer!) damn disease.
Anyone needing a mans winter jacket, this might be useful to you.
Hope you are still enjoying your furry friend LW

Morning all,
Been a bit of a crazy weekend. It's 6 wks today since I had my knee done. Well I woke up with an abscess on my scar yesterday:eek: so rang go to doc and they suggested I probably needed anti biotics which the doctor agreed with. Anyway this morning the wound is open and weeping. I can't believe it as it's been fine until now.
Anyway off to the district nurse in the morning, I will put a dressing on until then.
Honestly it feels like a massive saga this knee.
Ok enough about me
BB lovely to see you posting:D
jackieo glad you had a good day

Good afternoon everyone
No idea what is the matter with me but I am in real CBA mode and just can't be bothered with anything. I need to snap out of it and get moving.
JackieO - I am so glad you had a lovely day yesterday, your family are wonderful.
Julie - have you already started your antibiotics? If not, get them ASAP. Sometimes after surgery my scars open and I am often prescribed oral antibiotics plus a topical antibiotic for the wound. Take care and keep that leg raised.
Well wishes for all sick people and pets and hugs for those that need or just want them. Keep well, warm and safe and have a super dayLBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

NPM much (((hugs)))
Julie  take care and keep that leg up
Dismal and grey, what a contrast to yesterday
What a day I have had so far
The garage hasn't done what DH asked them to so he is fuming and is going to ring them from work.
He used the bike this morning and he said he had to get his breath back for 20 minutes  I think that has scared him into getting fit, so he is taking the half price membership at the gym where DD works.
I got a letter from the hospital with a different consultant so I phoned them up and thankfully it was a mistake at their end so I have an appointment in August with my knee man, trouble is it is on DD's birthday, but that is the only appointment that they could give me.
I had a good chat with the girl who answered the phone, mainly voicing my concerns about this uploading of data and she said that she and many of her colleagues including nurses, doctors and consultants are opting out as well, because they don't know who is going to have access to our private medical data. If that is coming from NHS staff then I urge anyone who hasn't done it to opt out now, you only have two weeks left.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Afternoon all,
Just popped in to read your news. I'm not adding anything of my own because it will lead to a mammoth moaning session which I don't want to do.

Afternoon all
Moorhen, you have my sympathy, it's horrible waiting for the results.
Luxor, I hope DD finds something soon, my son has to move in March as the house is being sold.
BBird, nice to see you posting
LW, I hope you are having fun.
Hugs to Judi, Julie, Molly & Hilly & anyone else in need.
I've had a lovely day, hubby & I went into town using our bus passes, he took me to Lakeland & treated me to an apple slicer, an icing set & a bag of licorice. Then we went to a pub & had ham egg & chips for £2.49 each.
Now I'm going to sit & knit 3 baby hats & 3 pairs of baby socks with some lovely soft yarn I've been sent.
Have a good day everyone.
