Morning Flyladies
I am in, good and proper, this week. HT here too but not in Walesso I have DS1 and DS2 here all week while DD slaves away over exams. I hav managed to shoogle most of this week's customers to the tail end of last week or the beginning of next so apart from 6 hours of paid stuff I am "off" this week too. I was so busy last week, between working extra and nursing a poorly DH
that I didn't have time to keep up with Fred so I hope all are safe, well and happy.
The Outlaws are taking us out for lunch todayso I need to get up and make a start as we need to be ready to leave by 11.30. Thankfully, I had a manic Sunday as MIL was babysitting the boys last night so DH and I could go and see The Strypes; I stripped and remade three beds, cleaned the bathroom and kitchen and dusted, vacced and mopped everywhere. Nothing like a MIL visit to spur me into panic mode
My big task this week will be to gut the boys bedroom and hopefully fling a couple of binbags of crud. They are overjoyed at the prospect of helping, as you might imagine :rotfl:
I picked up everything off the floor and the surfaces in the girls room yesterday; half a black bag of rubbish, a load and a half of smelly washing thanks to DSD and a million hair grips courtesy of DD later and it actually looks tidy in there. I have stuffed everything else into a box which they WILL be sorting through when they're both here next weekend; anything which is staying needs to find a 'proper' home, anything they cannot or will not find a home for will have to be taken back to their main homes or I WILL chuck it in the bin. I have HAD ENOUGH and it stops HERE AND NOW.
DD is used to my wrath (not that it really achieves much apart from making me feel better) but DSD is in for a shock, I suspect!

I don't usually get bags but the council have decided we cant put recycling in black bags so I have been using them for that so was running low on supplies.
My eyes are all gritty and sticky this morning..
Pixie still in bed so I may take advantage and go sort one of the girls cupboards.. and drink lots of tea and find some socks.
I need to do a laundry shuffle too..

- Sorted the laundry
- Fed the WM
- Emptied the airer
- PA all the non-ironing
- Fitted my new ironing board cover (simple pleasures)
- S&S the kitchen
- Spoke to MIL, wrote her a cheque, will take it with us at lunchtime
- Bossed DS1 into the shower
- Plumped the sofa cushions
Good job I have plenty time to get my slap on!

In fairness flying has taken a back seat in Valliland of late!
I also cleaned the bathroom and kitchen yesterday.
So far today I have washed and dried towels
Emptied DW
Watched old cat puke onto kitchen floor
Felt pleased because is tile and therefore washable
Wiped it up;); washed area
Pushed recalcitrant cat (young cat) into cat carrier
Drove to within half-a-mile of the vets
schlepped up a hill wilth a silent but heavy cat
Been licked by a small furry mutt
Hauled cat out of cat carrier onto consulting-room table
Held cat while stabbed by nurse (annual jab thing)
Shoved cat back into cat carrier
Handed over hard cash
came home
washed hands
booked chirpodist for me for Wednesday - 4pm so FREE parking guaranteed:money:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I don't envy you CY, dealing with 'moving out' cleaning on someone else's behalf. *yeach*
Devil Cat has stomped wet, dirty paw prints all over newly washed white cotton jumper that had been washed and dried to go to CS. *sigh*
Bedroom will be getting tidying up and listy attention today. Office recleared, kitchen straightened and filing tray cleared.Better is good enough.0
