See my post of I'm so excited for details of the day before! Then on the day, the case was heard and he was almost sent down but the CSA intervened and sai 'no' as the mortgage company had confirmed the mortgage offer was being sent. It was adjourned again until the 27th - if the money hasn't been received by then, then apparently he does go down with no further questions asked. Watch this space....0

Can I ask are there actual real enforcement officers employed by the CSA or is their existence a mere work of fiction?quote]
I can assure you they do exist-I am an ex employee who worked on outsource for the CSA and enforcement is effective but only if you can get evidence of someones earnings being self employed-if the NRP's want to hide the money or hide themselves which seems to happen then it's the poor PWC's suffer and it's heartbreaking when you hear parents struggling and hear their dispair and desparation. As a Case Worker (as I was)-you could be god yourself but some NRP's know how to get round the system-for example those who I put a Deduction Of Earnings Order on (which is the same as enforcement only enforcement is for Self Emp NRP's and DEO is for those in employment)-they simply just job hop, they leave their employment when the DEO goes on and the PWC is lucky to get one payment, and then you have to put a change of circumstances through to regather NRP information and it's just crazy. My heart goes out to every PWC out there. There are honestly some genine, hardworking and dedicated offices in the CSA who do everything they can to get the money through-I myself was one of them, but the agency just got too big and lets hope that the re-commission in January implements some valuable changes. It's not a consolation for those officers in the agency who will lose their civil service status as a result of this change and can be demotivating in what I can only describe as a difficult job-but the rewards from hearing a PWC delighted because they've had their 1st payment in years was what got me through. I used to have a complete biased view to the CSA before I did my work with them and was against the system but I can now honestly say that CSA staff are only human and if NRP's don't want to pay then they'll do all they can and spend years trying to dodge the system. But again-I sympathise with all you PWC's out there and I do hope you reach a resolution and get the money you are entitled to!!0
