Is that all? My case has been with them for the last 5 years (out of 7) and they still haven't got the money. What action has been taken so far?0

We have been waiting since 2003, our grandsons father refuses to pay, everytime the csa "find" his employers, he does another runner, lays low for a while until they trace him again and then the story goes on and on and on. Now we find ourselves in the same situation with our daughter (grandson mother), who says shes not paying because the father gets away with it!! so we get nothing at all. We have been told countless times that enforcement will take action, especially against the father but they haven,t done anything, they can,t even phone back when they say they will. We sent a letter of complaint 2 weeks ago, had a phone call couple of days latter saying they had received it and it was being passed on to a caseworker and they would call us back within the week to go through it, we are still waiting.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you tell us how to get some money out of them, cos were at our wits end.0 -
it is also a good idea to find out where your MP holds their local clinic and go in person to explain your case and how desperate you are.
i have pmd those who requested the info.0 -
Just to add my two pennorth: I have been waiting since 1993 for the CSA to catch up with my ex, he is the same , keeps moving, isnt on any official records such as council tax or utility bills as they are all in his girlfriend's name, and the arrears currently stand at over £27000. Enforcement have the case and are supposedly sending bailiffs round, (not that they will get anything out of him) but I am still waiting. I am also still waiting for a reply to my complaint dated 5th March 2007. So you are not alone in feeling forgotten, the CSA are totally frustrating and you feel like you are banging your head against a brick wall. hang in there, keep pestering everyone you can think of, and don't give up!!0

Can I ask are there actual real enforcement officers employed by the CSA or is their existence a mere work of fiction?
I ask this, as like many other PWC's who use this forum I have often heard, and heard of staff make reference to them but they never actually seem to materialise!0 -
No they do exist _ I have been in their office and met them in my area lol. the key is to complain continuously and chase them up all the time - when they say that they will take an action, ask what deadline they have to complete it. Then on that date, call them up and ask what the next action is and if they haven't taken the action they said they would, make a formal complaint.0
