This is my first attempt at joining a forum. I too was told by trading standards that my credit card company would be jointly liable with the supplier for a disastrous weekend's hire of a motor caravan .
I have learned today that because this deal was purchased through living social that I have no recourse to the credit card company under section 75 . I always thought that your contract was with the company you paid for the item but it seems living social / groupon wriggle out of that .0 -
Nothing stops you from suing the supplier directly via the Small Claims Court0
