Question: Which of her own items of domestic equipment did Margaret Thatcher insist on bringing into Downing St , in order to save taxpayers’ money, when she became Prime Minister in 1979?
Kettle
Hair Dryer
Ironing Board ??
I suspect the required answer is Ironing Board but the story for this is that she insisted on paying the £19 it cost and not that she brought her own one. Can't find anything about a kettle or a hair dryer.
