Equifax address finding problems and is the rep still on MSE like Experian's is

Hello, this is a question to all but in particular if the Equifax company rep is still responding to messages here (I couldn't find any recent posts from them).
I just did the online check of my credit score and Equifax did not have my flat number in their system. You get locked into a loop where you can't continue if you don't choose one of their pre programmed options. Instead of flat 11 for example, they only had number 12 or 13, even though I know flat 11 exists as I lived there for three years. Same issue with the prior flat (I was in the same building and moved down a floor to get more space).
I never had any issues before with companies struggling to find this flat number. It's completely unique to Equifax. Experian was able to find the right flat numbers.

If the Equifax rep is on here, please note I also wasn't listed as being on the electoral roll, even though Lambeth Council just confirmed to me in writing 2 days ago that I have been registered with them since 2012.

In the end I chose the wrong number on purpose just to see if I could get to my score, which I did. I'm afraid I messed up with my profile now with Equifax by entering an incorrect flat number deliberately.

Pretty shocking issues if these companies are the "guardians" of data and some banks use these credit scores so heavily. They can't even find flat numbers and it takes up to 2 years for the electoral roll data to show up??????????

Just so that you're aware putting an incorrect address on any application can be seen as fraud....
  • Sorry, are you serious?
  • It's fraud when applying for credit, not when you just want to view your file and your address isn't an option. Contact Equifax and I'm sure they'll resolve it for you.
  • Thanks Hazzinho, I was a bit scared by being accused of fraud when I was just trying to get the report to make sure I had good credit not to do anything dodgy. I will contact Equifax as a next step. Thanks again

I said it can be as the poster above has somewhat clarified
