Crack in exterior wall

Hi,
Hoping to get some advice and help.
I went to view a home today. It was beautiful.
My only problem is, there is a crack on the exterior wall.
The homes were built in 2006 and there is still some nhbc left.
I'm wondering if they would deal with it or not.
The home is bought leasehold, therefore should the leaseholder not have to pay towards the cost or something?
The home is quite an expensive home, value has decreased due to the crack though.
The crack goes diagonally and is 8 bricks in length. It's on the bottom left hand side of the property. I do have a picture, although not sure how to share.
I'm wanting to know how serious the crack is, I believe there has been a survey done, although I'm yet to view. I would also get my own but wanting other peoples opinions.
Thank you.
