Blackberry Playbook problems

My OH has a problem it wont accept his e mail account and I player is not working correctly .
E mail unable to look up connection information is the message he gets when trying to set up yahoo e mail that went off a couple of days ago .
I player has no obvious problem other than nothing be able to save in favourites and one programme in favourites will not play.
I also have a blackberry playbook and happy to say no problems with my e mail in yahoo and i player:)
