How long to update credit report?

I signed up to the experian free trial last week (monday). Even before I signed up for this, I had applied for a loan and used it to pay off car finance - to clarify, this had already gone through. . . But the credit report, today (saturday, a week and a half after the transactions), still shows that I have the balance outstanding on the car finance and the loan is still nowhere to be seen! I want to know how this is affecting my credit score, but the experian website hasn't updated yet.
Any ideas? Is this normal? Will it update before the end of the free trial? (Is this a cunning plan to get me to stick around longer . . . ?)
Thanks
Steve

Lenders generally update the CRAs once per month, and often the data can be a month or more in arrears.
So you can't blame the CRA!
If your free trial has expired by then, simply buy a £2 statutory report. You won't get a "score" with that, but since it's a meaningless number anyway that'll be no loss to you.0 -
I see. Might as well cancel the trial now then while I remember, now at least I've seen that there's nothing untoward on there. Though I did notice that I'm still linked to my Mum on there, because we took out a loan together in 2004 (I was only 19 and she got me a good rate, having a current account at A&L) for 5 years so I could buy my first car! Not a problem, we both have good credit.Could HAVE. Should HAVE. Would HAVE. Not OF.0

You may as well as keep it open until a few days before the 30 days are up, the CRA might update at the end or beginning of the month. All that glitters is not gold.0

To add to the good advice above, the recent activity not showing won't affect your credit score at all as you do not have a credit score.0
