Recommended Areas to live within 15 miles of Kings Lynn

My ex relocated to kings Lynn 6 months ago with our son and I would now like to relocate within 15 miles of them to be close by.
The commuting of 240 miles every other weekend is to much and I also don't want to miss out on my son growing up. My new partner is amazing and has agreed that she would relocate up there to keep our family together (we are expecting a little girl)
Norfolk never would have been somewhere we planned to live but I don't want my children growing up on opposite ends of the country so I'm making the best out of a bad situation if you will.
Can anyone recommend any nice areas to bring up children with a nice community, local amenities, good house prices 4 bedrooms up to £200k also please advise on places to avoid.
My ex is planning to send our son to whitefriars primary in September what are your views on the school?
Thank you in advance

Whitefriars has an exemplary record, & is a feed to KES (that's the local gold standard in education).
You said in another thread you would be transferred, so it depends a bit on exactly where your work will be located. We're rural folk, so a 40 mile round trip to work & back is nothing (but expensive).
Suggest you look on Rightmove for North Wootton, Dersingham, East Winch, West Winch for properties within your limits. Nowhere in any of them will be "bad".
Properties in Lynn will be cheaper, but I don't know what areas are good.
Does your partner really want to go through this upheaval & dislocation from her own base?0 -

I will look into the towns. Thank you
My partner and I are engaged to be married so it's definitely a commitment we both agree on in fact she suggested we consider the move.
We have always discussed moving which has been in the Hertfordshire/ Peterborough direction as they have good rail links to london for me to commute to work but things have changed and we both agree we want to keep our family together. I had another family 2 brothers who lived with my dad 150 miles away growing up I have a very poor relationship with them and it's not something I want for my son.
As for work if we do the move up to Norfolk then my closest yard will be Norwich but I don't work in the yard so I will be relocated all over Norfolk and Norwich. I'm a scaffolder so it really will depend where contracts are.
I will commute from where ever and if it becomes to much then il have to look for a new firm but it shouldn't be. Problem my company are global I'm sure something can be sorted0 -
Also consider Gayton, it's a really nice (large) village with a good community vibe.Total money owed: [STRIKE]31/07/11- £17,877[/STRIKE], LBM - 14/10/12 :j, 01/06/13 - £0 DEBT FREE!!!!
New challenge- save an extra £5000 from non-salary -£1600 (32%)0 -
YOu need to be careful, the swathes of Eastern European immigrants to that part of England has overwhelmed the schooling and health services in many towns; Boston, Peterborough esp.0
