Best way to save £3 per day

Hi,
First post here
I have heard recently of the save £3 per day for a rainy day. What is the best way of doing this? Should I just set up a standing order from my current wage account to another account for £3? I would prefer this as it is a small amount and won't notice it long term rather than doing it in a monthly payment.
Any suggestions - advantages or disadvantages?
Thanks!

£3 a day or £90 a month, either way that's £90 gone from your main account each month. Doing it daily will flood your statement with £3 transfers.
How about putting 3 £1 coins into a moneybox each day?Eco Miser

Just transfer 90 a month. Don't over complicate it!0

The question is more "could I set up a daily standing order?" to which the answer would be I very much doubt it.only_me444 wrote: »Should I just set up a standing order from my current wage account to another account for £3?0 -
The best way to actually do it, is by not bying poncy coffees and packing a lunch.
The mechanics of how you do it don't matter so much.
but, saving by DD on pay day is the way to go forwards, esp after any pay increase. Always the time to up your pension, and other savings as if you aren't used to having it, you won't miss spending it.0
