Toshiba TV sound problem.

We have a three year old TV and sometimes the sound changes to a whistle. If I turn it off and then on it is fine. this happens 2 or 3 times a week.
Easy fix or live with it?

    What model of tv?
Does it have a headphone socket or any other audio out?
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?
  • Hi, it is a 32AV615BD and does have a headphone socket and phono audio outputs.

Try plugging headphone in to see if you have the same issue -if not, then it's the speakers.

Could be one measly capacitor that's not quite up to the job or being overhaeted or something. Google your TV model with whistling and see if it's a common problem and if they have been able to fix it. Or have a look on AVForums.com where people may also have experience.
