Company Secretary Expenses

Hi
I originally posted this on the cutting tax board but think this might be a better section to post it:
My husband is Director of his own Ltd company. I am down as Company Secretary and do all the accounts.
I have decided to complete my AAT Level 4 training course as this level is what deals with Limited Company accounts, and business tax, etc.
I was just wondering if I can pay for this and my AAT membership through the business or if I will have to fund it myself.
I also have a part time accounts job but do not do any duties up to the level of what is covered in AAT Level 4 so this would solely be for the benefit of my husbands Ltd company. I am not down as an employee of the company as I do not draw any wage from it (I use all my tax allowance in my 'day job' so no tax benefit from taking a wage).
Thanks in advance.

All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.

Membership fees you can check on http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/list3/index.htm to see if they are allowable or not.
Education is more complex and I will let someone else field that one
