Barclaycard - Have my pending balance trans vanished?

I recently applied for a Barclaycard and gave details of two balance transfers. They immediately showed on the new card's online banking balance graphic thingy as 'pending balance transfers'. A week later and the card's arrived and now there's no mention of them on the online banking. Anyone had this? Just wondering if there's a problem or if this always happens and they'll shortly show up as transactions.

I've contacted them online to check but just curious and not in the mood for a phone call.

OH had the same issue recently, transfers were clearly not in progress so he did them manually last night online. He too had given the card numbers, amounts etc. at the time of application.

We also thought they would automatically happen. Not so for us. The account was open mid January so Bc had plenty of time to do the transfers if they were going to.

Got accepted for the card 2 months ago. On the application, I requested a balance transfer. Got the card through, but no sign of the balance transfer being processed.

I rang Barclaycard up and was told that no balance transfer had been processed but they where happy to carry out the BT manually there and then, this went through fine.

Thanks for the replies. Seems I got lucky! I've just arrived home to find that my balance transfers have gone through this evening and are showing as transactions on my card.
