Insulation Deals
Hi,
My property still has insulation from the 70's, 1" glass fibre, no wonder the bills are so high. So i'm looking to upgrade to the 270mm that is recommended.
I'm not eligible to any grants and the green deal would not work as i have a new combi boiler/windows and the cavity looks recent.
I did see some deals last year whereby if you purchased one roll of insulation you got 2/3 free but i can't find any of these deals. Are there any deals out there?

The cheapest I've found is at Wickes, it was about half the price of B&Q and most others 3-4 weeks ago.
All you can do is trawl around t'interweb to see who's the cheapest but make sure you are comparing like with likeNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
If you've been holding off for a year, then the money you've wasted this winter in lost heat has probably been more than the cost of buying the loft insulation at standard price and DIYing it.
Crazy having all that other work done and then leaving the loft with 1" of insulation. No free lunch, and no free laptop
