Sorted thanks. Problem when posting from a phone.

If you submit by email you still have to submit the appeal form.

Ah yes - thanks. I'll do it by email. That will make sure it meets the 21 day rule.

BTW your first link is (still) broken. I think it needs a lowercase .pdf...

OK I've emailed the appeal to them, but I've had no acknowledgement from them. I'm going to send the appeal by post as well and get proof of posting just to be double sure

Yeah that's the best bet. IPC are still relatively new, so it might be that there is a delay in registering your appeal as the email address is a generic one, it may therefore get bounced around the office before the right person receives it and acknowledges it. If you do get an acknowledgement then let us know so we can see how long it does take.

If you're posting then don't send signed for/recorded.

    Hi everyone,

Just an update on this. I got the final decision from the IPC and they have accepted my appeal :j

Its funny that in the end, according to the IPC, it was all about the wording of the NTK which wasn't complaint with the POFA 2012...

Here's a screen shot of the appeal decision :

They seemed to dismiss all the other points of the appeal.

Thanks to everyone for their help in getting this sorted out - A great result :T

Well done and thanks for showing the IPC decision as it helps to understand their mindset which is different from POPLA.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Post 27 has the answer. It is really no good going to older posts like this. I have just answered on your own thread. If you want to see examples of winning appeals, mostly based on non complaint NTKs read the IAS decisions thread which is linked to in Crabman's sticky at the top of the forum.
Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.
