Alliance mistakenly credited my account

Alliance mistakenly credit my account on the 10th May. I did not realise. Yesterday, I recieved a letter saying that they mistakenly credited my account and will be debiting my account within 15days of date of letter. Where do I stand on this? I do not have the money to repay all of what they credited by this date? If they debit my account, I will go over drawn and will encur charges.

You shouldnt have spent the money as it wasnt yours to spend and they have every right to claim back the amount. If its going to cause you to go overdrawn I suggest you call them up and see if they can extend your overdraft for a short period or claim it back in smaller amounts.0

Yes, call them a.s.a.p. and when you do, remember not to get on your high horse about it, since a concilliatory attitude is more likely to get a result in these circumstances.0
