Apple Store charged my debit card twice

Hi guys
I went to an apple store earlier this week to buy a connector cable between my camera and my ipad. It cost £25 (which is hard enough to swallow!) but on checking my online banking, I have been charged twice by the store.
The problem is I am now travelling abroad for 4 months and can't go back to the actual. My bank (first direct) say I can only resolve this with the store directly. Is there anyway this could be resolved eg if my mum went back to the store with the receipt (I have the debit card with me though). So annoying......

Call your bank again and get it reversed andprovide them with the receipt, they should be able to do the rest.0

The stores seem to have direct telephone numbers so I would ring them and ask how this could be resolved. They might accept an email with attachment of the receipt or allow your mother to act on your behalf.
