Just been clearing out my files and came across a lastminute.com share certificate. I had completely forgotten that I had this, not many shares 35.


Having done an internet search it seems that the shares were all sold to a different company and share holders should have received a payout.


We have moved house since and I didn't think to notify the share registar so did not receive the payout.


Has anybody tried to claim their payout recently? All the information I can find out is from 2006 so probably well out of date.


Any help or ideas would be great,

Contact the share registrars, named on the share certificate. They may be holding some money for you.

I answer my own question here just in case anyone now or in the future is in the same situation

Contact Equiniti on 0121 415 7061 (announces as Centrica but it is Equiniti)

I have the same issue, but have actually lost my share certificate. Would contacting equiniti help without a share certificate? Is there some form of record they would hold that could show that I was the original shareholder? It's not much money, but I've often though about what happened to those shares over the years.
