Groupon slow to Refund

Has anyone got any tips on how to get a refund from Groupon? I bought a carpet shampooer from them on 30/11/13 and next day noticed they had billed me for 2. Phoned and cancelled one of them on the 3/12 but was told I was too late - it had been dispatched (although they only set me a dispatch confirmation email on 9/12:mad:) Returned the item on 11/12 and nothing since. Two weeks ago they said it would be 5-7 days. Really? It's only £65 but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
