beware of ebay weirdos

I have sold a few old things on ebay lately and also a pair of laboutin stilettos that an ex bought me, I listed them as I would any other item and they sold to a male which I thought was a bit odd for very close to their retail price. he specifically asked me not to clean them or anything which I thought a bit odd but sent them anyway, now he keeps emailing me asking if I can take photos of me in any more of my heels for him, hes not been threatening or intimidating or anything but really creepy/weird, can he be reported to ebay for this? problem is I cant see he is actually doing anything wrong, justa being a bit weird

Clean, post, block from bidding in future may be the best option here.

    Well, as a male, I think he's weird :)

Just ignore future messages, and he'll give up soon.

Shoes do attract weirdos. If he keeps emailing you , just tell him to stop contacting you.
  • There have been several threads in the past about 'well worn shoes'.

Yes, it's a fetish, and if you're brave enough you could probably make a fortune selling to these people. But I can understand sellers, especially females, feeling uncomfortable dealing with these sort of people.
  • someone i used to work with ( male ) used to exploit these wierdos a lot , set up a ebay page and sold items he bought at charity shops to gulliable men who thought they were buying off a woman
  • haha, sincei was on this morning I have spoken to a colleague about it and she said a similar thing. to be honest it doesn't bother me that much so im going to see how much I could make out of selling my old shoes lol, only about 100 pairs in my cupboard to sort through!

    *puts thinking cap on* lol

I can't believe people do this found someone on eBay selling a pair for £35+ with bidding still to go on boots that are to the knee and pictures of her shopping in them...Hum.
People don't know what they want until you show them.

Tell him he can have some pictures at 20 quid a photo. If not pm me his username on ebay, I could use the extra cash
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.
