Hi all,

What are your thoughts on this site? It came up in google shopping results and seems to sell things really cheap.
I looked into it and whois showed it was registered with 1and1 as a private account and other research suggests it's in Germany but gives what looks like possibly a Dutch address in the USA!
The address shows as:
Nelkenweg 8 Lauben GERMANY 87493 Germany which is a house in a small remote village.

It also appears to have been in existance for only 5 days...
Seems quite dodgy generally, I can't decide whether to risk using it or not...

Their contact address shows USA but the street address is German.

The phone number looks false with a * in it - also international code +40 is Romania

If it is a business it should not be registered as a private account.

Just read the terms and conditions - given that it is a translation from some other language it is very amateurish and just does not make any sense at all.

Privacy Policy seems to have been lifted from another website !

With all the above - I would personally not use them.

Thanks aerostar, the privacy policy did read a bit strange referring to 'macmall'. I looked up the company name associated with the site as well 'Ikee GMBH' and there were some google results saying it was an IT company. Very confusing! I would have thought that Google shopping would only identify known reliable retailers.

Wow wouldn't give them a second thought... alarm bells should be ringing loudly.

Sadly I suspect we'll be getting some replies from new members who got stung when they paid for goods from that site.... that's what usually seems to happen.
