Can't remember who I had credit/finance with, how can I check and find out?

Hi all, I can't remember who I had credit/finance with, how can I check? I've done a credit report and it only shows who I can remember but Im sure I had a few more agreements finance wise with some companies from years ago, before 6 years, It's for PPI claims.


My question is that is there anyway to find out who I've had any finance or credit with someway thanks?

You could try the other credit reference agencies - though the chances are they won't have any more info than you have already.

Yes, you can send a SAR letter (at a cost of £10 per letter) to each of the lenders who you think may have mis-sold you PPI.

It's up to you whether you think this (expensive) gamble is worth (any) result...

They will all have roughly the same information on you, nothing older than six years is the norm.
Your only viable (though expensive) option is at post#3 of the thread.

You can't remember who you had credit from, but you can remember all the valid reasons why the PPI was mis-sold?
