On a prepayment with npower
......and I want to go on a normal credit meter but I don't want to pay the £60 charge , I've been a customer for over 10 years and always in credit apart from once when they messed things up they was under charging me which I had no way of knowing until they sent me a letter saying as such but they admitted it wasn't my fault there was nothing I could have done I phoned them up and told them I want a credit meter they said OK but £60 charge and said I'm not paying that I'll go else where that doesn't charge me and they OK bye
I was hoping they might let me off because I've been a customer for over 10 years but no joy .
My question is has anyone else had any joy getting them to drop the £60 charge for a prepayment to credit meter change ?
On the actual moneysavingexpert.com ( this site ) it says
Gas: £60
Elec: £60
Can be free, so ask. Your account history is reviewed to ensure you won't build up debt. You need to have been clear of debt for 12 months.
How can I get it free ?

Change supplier about it, suppliers are not taking the costs on much these days. Blame the complaints bandDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
