Re New Job & JSA Allowance

Hi I have been out of work for 12 months and only recently signed on. I have only received one months JSA.
I have been for a job interview and my new employer wants me to start in the middle of the month. The position is salary paid monthly.
It looks like I will be receiving no money for 6 weeks, does any one know if there is any overlap with JSA payments until I get paid or does JSA stop when you start a new job

You sign off JSA when you start your new job and will be paid only until that date.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
