I take it you are doing this yourself? If you want a fence to last longer than a couple of years you need to build a picket fence, and you can get 6ft boards from your local building supplier, along with 8ft posts and railing. A picket fence has gaps that allow the wind to get through. The cheaper option is fencing panels but I dont recommend these as they dont last. Local building suppliers that the trade use will be cheaper than going to any large multiple such as B&Q/Homebase.
Take a look at some of the fence I have worked on with my partner.

For comparison and haggling the price down, maybe find a local sawmill and see what they can do?If it was easy, everyone would do it!0

The fence in pic one and two (https://www.bangorfencing.co.uk//photogallery.html) is actually set into a wall. Obviously if you havent got a wall built this would be the most expensive part.
Sorry but it would be realistic to give a price. The best thing to do if you are wanting to get a fence built is look for fences in your area that are well built, secure, level and straight, and ask the householder who done the work. Or the other way is to check out the local press get a few quotes and ask if they have done any fences in your area, and ask for the address. But make sure you see some work they have done before, there is a lot of poor workmanship out there, and its not worth getting the cheapest price if the fence is not built correctly.
Good luck!0
