If you'll only take 3 or 4 minutes, do this, but go out of the bedroom to do it! If she wakes up in the night she'll assume you're in the loo and most likely won't notice her phone is gone.
I often wake up through the night (due to OH stealing duvet/snoring) and I never check to see if my phone is still where I left it!You had me at your proper use of "you're".0 -
OP, this sounds like a proposal is going to be made during the playlist.fake_smile wrote: »I want to download a Spotify playlist on to my girlfriends phone. I will be leaving a message in her car for when she leaves for work tomorrow asking her to play my specially created list.
I would prefer her not to know I am doing one but how can I get her phone off her without looking like I just want to randomly go through it?
If it isn't, might she suspect that it is?
And would she be gutted if it's just a bunch of romantic songs rather than a proposal?0 -

I'm going to be the voice of dissent and say that if your relationship isn't at the stage where you can use each other's phones and its not an issue, then maybe best not to do it. Will she be pleased with a romantic playlist on her phone or annoyed that you took it and messed with it behind her back?
Why not pick another romantic gesture, a note or card in the car will still make her smile, and save the playlist for when you're together maybe?0 -

Oooh she is coming out for a meal with me tonight for my birthday so the chances are she will shower. I just don't want her to catch me with her phone because that could look terrible, we respect each others privacy - I am allowed on it but don't see why I need to be if you see what I mean.
My other thought was to do it whilst she is sleeping but worried about the above. Turning over and seeing me on her phone in the middle of the night....hmm lol
if she catches you and goes mad and dosnt belive you show here this page she will be
then;)
p.s will it make her cry (in a good way you doing this crying and driving isnt good0 -

Just in case the shower thing doesn't work...
Find an app on the Play Store or Apple store or whichever store that she doesn't have but you think she would like. Ask for her phone to install the app (claim you need to check the spelling). Install the app but at the same time quickly download the Spotify playlist.
No worries of her catching you with her phone because she handed it to you, and you've installed the app you said you were going to install.0 -
Why don't you download the playlist onto your own spotify account and ask her to play it. I'd be less than impressed if someone started messing around with my phone without telling me.0

That's a really lovely idea and with my hubby would do something like that, but he wouldn't know how to do it, as he is a complete technophobe and would end up asking me how to do it. :eek:Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £10,153.440
