PPI Claim with money boomerant

Hi
Can anyone give a little advice.
I put a claim in for PPI through my bank with money boomerang. The bank did not make me an offer and I did not hear anything back from Money Boomerang and did not instruct them to do anything else with the claim.
After a couple of months I decided to take the claim to the ombudsman myself.
I received a letter from the bank saying that Money Boomerang had been in touch and who did they want me to send all correspondence to..I naturally said me as I had not instructed Money Boomerang.
This was a few weeks ago and as far as I am aware the claim is still being handled by the ombudsman.
Money Boomerang have now sent a letter to me stating that the ombudsman will be shortly sending out a offer letter and that money boomerang want a copy..
Do I still have to pay the 25% fee as I took the claim further myself ??:j

You've signed a legally binding contract with this company to pay them 25% (plus VAT) of any redress which comes about as a result of any complaint they send on your behalf. You did not cancel this agreement; you merely acted without their knowledge.Phoenixlady wrote: »Do I still have to pay the 25% fee as I took the claim further myself ??:j
You'll have to pay up, I'm afraid.0
