Previous claims details

We sold our house last year and I need to get insurance in place for the new purchase later on this month but am having real issues finding out the details of previous claims.
I know we had one in 2012 for £750 for water/storm damage to our roof and I know we had a contents claim...at some stage for £125 for a fridgefreezer that got turned off accidently which I think was a few years back. Not sure if this was within the last 4 years though.
I've managed to find our old insurance company's details but they are having issues providing me with the information. Is there a central database that other insurers can access to see claim details? I really don't want to take out any insurance that might be voided due to them not having the right details. Got nothing to hide and would like the reassurance that I haven't fogotten about claiming something else!
Does it matter if I get the date wrong on the historical claim? I.e. wrong month or year but its still declared and the right claim amount is declared? Would this (unintentionally of course) void the policy in the event of a claim?

There is a database (CUE) you can apply to for details it holds on your claim/loss history.0

Thanks! I presume that takes a fair while to come through though? I.e not a day or two!0

Jeepers well beyond my house completion date then!!
Well Nationwide have managed to look into their archives and come up with a claim from 2008 (which is too old to need to consider) and one from 2012 for storm damage (which I have all of the details about) but haven't got anything for the freezer that turned off which I thought was somewhere in between the two....this would have only been around £125 but the thing is that we can't remember if we claimed or decided not to because it was such a small amount after the £50 excess. If I was making the decision now. I wouldn't claim....
Nationwide said that sometimes they don't keep record of the really small claims and might not supply the details to the national database. Which isn't helpful. I think I will declare this and say I'm not sure of the year (it would have been Aug 2011 or 2012 as we came back off of holiday) or if we ever actually claimed - but I'd rather have a claim on the policy that doesn't exist than not include a claim which they find at a later date and void the policy because of.
